3. No, and I wouldn't want him as President if he could.

This speaks for the tendency here at DU of saying, "so-and-so for President" anytime anybody takes a strong liberal stand. This often makes me cringe. Just because a Democrat (or somebody else) acts like a Democrat does not mean that he or she should be our next President.

We should make sure that Dem representatives know that we expect *all* of them to act like Democrats. That way, when it comes time to select a presidential candidate--that time is *not* now--we may have a slate of good Democrats from which to choose.

No, I don't want George Galloway to be my President, even if he could run. Even though I like him, I do not consider him the type of person who should be in the White House.

6. ROFL.
Thanks for that one. Made my day.

I, too, wish we had somebody with brass ones, like George Galloway. Hell, I wish we had a party *full* of them.

8. I hear you ... I love George too.
The only person (in politics) I've heard speak so strongly (besides the Black Caucus).
