Dear God, what is going on? How does the GOP expect anyone to care what the court says when it has so clearly set this up as another way to divide America? I just don't get what these idiots are thinking. Willfully appointing a man to the highest court in the land who could not even garner the full support of the Judiciary Committee?

And is Leahy still on the crack pipe? Did he come to his senses overnight? Jesus, this is sooooo fucked up.

I think 2000 was as partisan as it gets...but at least the statement "Supreme Court justices rise above politics in their decisions" has been laid to rest.
