7. The long-range effects of bushco ignoring the warnings on OBL

Let's face it, there is a GREAT deal of bluff and bluster involved in defense and war. Where do they think the term "sabre rattling" came from?

bushco ignored the SCREAMING from the Clinton administration on OBL. They knew better! OBL was an old family friend and biz partner, after all. Imagine if the 9/11 plot had been shut down like Clinton shut down all those other plots after WTCI. The world would still be under the belief that we were impregnatable...that our military could do anything...that our country took care of its citizens and handled natural disasters like no one else.

But now, the facade has been ripped from our house of cards. We're the whale that evolved from the land to the sea and got so big that it thought it could do anything it wanted, including walking on land.

We are fucked.
