This week, Democracy for America is hosting an online instant run-off vote to determine which Congressional candidate will receive our first DFA-List endorsement of 2006. Last week, we held the first round of voting, narrowing the field of 60 Congressional candidates down to 10. All these candidates are running as challengers to Republican incumbents or for open seats in red districts. This week, we are holding an Instant Run-off Vote to determine the winner.

Results are updated hourly and can be seen at BlogForAmerica.com. Voting closes on Saturday, September 24 at 5:00 pm Eastern Time.

1. why are there no primary challengers to incumbent Dems?

if DFA only endorses candidates against republicans or open seats, how are we going to purge our Party of pro-war Democrats???

4. DFA - an intra-party reform movement ??

i thought the idea of DFA was to "reform" the Party ... wouldn't that include replacing those Democrats who don't represent mainstream Democratic thinking?

endorsing ONLY candidates against incumbent republicans or open seats sure sends the wrong message to me ...
