Taking back the House and Senate |
|
Is anyone up on how many seats are up in 2006 for re-election? Will there be enough Pukes up that we can unseat and guarantee a majority in both House and Senate? Are there any potential candidates that we need to get behind NOW to guarantee an upswing for next year?
If we can guarantee a win for ourselves in 2006, do you think both the press and Congress will have enough balls to try impeaching both GWB and Dickhead?
We NEED TO DO SOMETHING. Only by working diligently can we focus our anger and our fear into something constructive. Everyone with me?

which I also posted. Except for one thing: if we could impeach with a majority in the Senate and House, DEMOCRATS would be in both the Pro Tempore and Speaker positions. Our only chance to upset the pukes in their play to keep the country under their thumb.

Besides that fact of progression..If articles of Impeachment were introduced enough delays could be brought on by Republicans, Bush's term would be up before actual impeachment would happen..But it sure would seal a Democrat victory for generations..

One guy I would LOVE to see out on his ass is David Dreier. I was in his district for most of the time I lived in California. He's a good buddy of the ass in chief.

19. heard Frist isn't seeking re-election |
|
I heard on NPR the other day that Bill Frist is NOT seeking re-election to the Senate. However, he IS interested in the White House.
(I'm not all that concerned about his presidential aspirations.)

I ask because Patrick Murphy an Iraq War vet. who's raised a lot of money is running in PA-08 against a one term congressman and I definetely believe he has a chance to win. But also former NFL QB Heath Shuler is running in NC and that was supposed to be Emanuel's big "get" and he's not even on that list.

24. Rahm Emanuel wants her to raise more money |
|
On her own, before the DCCC gives any cash to her. I'm going to email him and say that it's no time for that sort of nonsense and that Christine needs all the help she can get.

15. No, we can't get to a 67 seat majority in the Senate. |
|
To convict on an impeachment takes 67 votes in the Senate.
