I always start to laugh because I always hear that same husky impression women use when they want make us fool men look stupid. "I know where I'm going. We don't need to stop for directions. I'm the freakin' king of the road."

Of course, she came from Fox News, so maybe she just used the voice so much as a mocking response to fools Hannity, O'Reilly, and company that she couldn't get rid of it -- kind of like Madonna's British accent.
