Can we follow the Katrina and Rita relief money (approved by Congress)?

Who is getting a slice of the pie? Who in congress gets the pie "returns"?

Is anyone aware of how to do this? Once we know who the contractors are, it shouldn't be that hard for us to follow the connections they have to Congress, or would it?

I think this presents a great opportunity for exposing the contemptible greedheads and their hideous waste products--and exposing the people in Washington who tidy up their unpleasantness as well.

The Project on Government Oversight has a list of contractors involved in Katrina:

Investigating these contracts to follow them to connections to Congress is hard. Simply following contracts to assure delivery by the contractors in accordance with the terms specified in the contract is difficult.
