For me the days that drug on of watching those people starve and dehydrate in New Orleans seemed like the moment. While the Prez jetted around the Nation wondering what to do. I think his involvement in RITA just show how detatched he was in the first place. I think most reasonable people know he was out to lunch, and to some indiffrent. ROberts sails through sure, i mean personally can he be any worse than REhnquist? not likely. But now that George is down is there anyway we can wrestle the agenda away? Our leading progressives and what not seem to have some commonality but not ONE voice to put out there. Is that important? I think now is the time to come up with our own plans. BUsh is so reactive that he's reeling. Our first test is the midterms. I think bush is doner than done.
