Is Bin Laden
the solution? We know that the gov. has the capability of zooming in on Earth and seeing things in great detail--just exactly how close things appear, I'm not sure--but lets say they can see down to the yard. We've been hearing for eons that Bin Ladin is "believed" to be on the Afghan-Pakistan border. Today's announcement was that he's been cut off from communicating with the outside except through personal messenger. (Which I find the least secure type of communication he could possibly have.) Is the sudden "capture" of bin Ladin going to jack up those percentage points for Rover's little chimp?

1. In reality personal messenger is the most
secure, especially in rebel-type operations.

2. Bin Ladin denies complicity in 911 attacks.
The BBC's John Simpson said a source who had met Mr Bin Laden just two days ago said the Saudi dissident had been stripped of all of his complicated and sophisticated communications equipment.

An aide for Mr Bin Laden quoted him as denying he had planned the attack, but calling it a "punishment from Allah".

"I have no information about the attackers or their aims and I don't have any links with them," the aide quoted Mr Bin Laden as saying.

October 16, 2001-- An interview with Osama bin Laden was published in a Karachi-based Pakistani daily newspaper, Ummat, on September 28, 2001. In this interview, bin Laden says of the September 11 attacks in the US:

"I have already said that I am not involved in the 11 September attacks in the United States. As a Muslim, I try my best to avoid telling a lie. I had no knowledge of these attacks, nor do I consider the killing of innocent women, children and other humans as an appreciable act. Islam strictly forbids causing harm to innocent women, children and other people. Such a practice is forbidden even in the course of a battle.
