Idiot son uses the 'C' word in press conference
Conserve

He said it. I heard him, live on 'national teevee'.

Conserve

The rest of the speech was the usual jingo and platitude

Lots of lower jaw wagging

Looking like dog shit

Speaking slow

Frowning

Looking like he'd rather be anywhere but where he is

Looking pissed off

Hey georgie .... fuck you, man, you're toast.

1. Only four years after officially dimissing the concept of conservation
from the National Energy Strategy.

Only four years after Cheney dismissed conservation as mere "personal virtue."

Bush is in so much trouble, he's just taking positions at random and flipping them to see if it helps.

2. LOL! It was almost as difficult to say as "responsibility."
I thought he was going to choke on his own spittle.

6. Bush just made up another new word in his current
press conference.

Discriminary.

I can't even watch him speak anymore. He struggles to put a sentence together and throws in his buzzwords.

Did he just say "prediscuss"?

3. Bush looks like a fugitive.
Did you see him with that LA governor? He looked like hunted dog searching for somewhere to hide.

14. A prisoner.
Those healthy looking guys photographed with him in the NORCOM bunker looked like they're in charge, not him. They're his guards while some sort of transitional regime with a civilian face is being organized.

We're still some days or weeks from the public announcement.

Poverty. "It needs to be addressed."

We've known that for decades, asshole. Congratulations on discovering it exists.

He's in bad shape.

5. Conservation!?
How is Exxon Mobil going to continue to make more profit per quarter than any corporation in the history of money if people start to conserve?

7. Now that gas and oil and NG prices are through the roof, Bush
tells us not to bankrupt ourselves.

Gee, thanks asshole. I never would have thought of that.

Idiot doesn't understand that the price crunch is exactly what he could have helped us avoid by conserving BEFORE it was forced on us.

25. yes, chimpy, we've thought of that already
We are considering shutting the heat off to half of our rooms this winter, if natural gas is going to double. That, plus stocking up on extra firewood (we do have a fireplace). We'll keep the thermostat turned down to 65-68 degrees (we'll have to see what we can stand). It gets pretty cold in Wisconsin in January. :scared:

26. It's as if it never occurs to them that we pay the prices.
For all the guff about markets and supply and demand, they have no concept of what it means to PART of it, SUBJECT to it.

To them, life is one big no-bid contract, one big inside trade, one big whodoyouknow sweetheart golden parachute deal after another.

How bad does it have to get before they don't let him come before the public? The facial tics of all types were just going berserko.

10. he looks like hell and that jaw thing gets worse by the day
inarticulate as any grossly hungover chronic drunk you've ever met.

plenty of faux drawling

he all but admits he has no interest in anything except pretending to be knowledgeable about the oil business.

the answer to all our problems is further deregulation and tax breaks for the oil bidniz.

I wish I was skilled at photoshop. Someone needs to take a Platypus and super-impose chimpies head on it. All he does is deliver platitudes. I would name this new creation "PlatyBush".

22. When is he returning to Washington?
It's obvious that he doesn't want to be there and that he is not doing anything of value. He's probably SO resentful of the fact that he has to stay away from his home because of Cindy and all those pesky protesters. Well, BOO fricking HOO!
