You’re Not Qualified to Govern this Country if You Don’t Understand the Uses of TV

America was stunned to find out that Bush and many members of his administration had not tuned in to TV coverage of Katrina. How or why, in the midst of an epic proportion catastrophe in our country, our leaders were tuned out instead of tuned in, poses a huge question as to their responsibility in responding to Hurricane Katrina, let alone being informed of day to day life in America and the failings of this administration to acknowledge the hopeless despair felt by so many in the aftermath of Katrina.

Newsweek columnist Anna Quindlen suggests, “You’re not qualified to govern this country at this moment in time if you don’t understand the uses of TV. In fact, those in public life should be required to watch it.”

how much on top of the Rita crisis he is, flying all over the place while telling us to conserve energy. Does he still not watch tv or read the papers like he used to, and instead listen to his "closest aides"?

shows countless TV screens tuned all day long to various news outlets.

"appointed and annointed" the "Leader of the Free World," unable to string 5 words together in a comprehensible sentence, appointing unqualified, incompetent cronies who themselves are unable to keep constituents "out of harm's way" doing PHONY PHOTO-OPS ad nauseum after OBVIOUSLY being aroused from a drunken, drugged stupor...

How long since would the White House have been surrounded by outraged citizens with torches, pitchforks and a LYNCH MOB??? I ask you.

America is one VERY SICK nation and a menace to the survival of homo sapiens on the planet.
