Paraphrasing here ..... Tweety has George Allen and Dick Durbin on debating a number of issues around the Katrina aftermath.

They're talking about offsets to pay for NOLA help. Allen says they ahve this idea and that .... bridges to nowhere ..... prescrption drug benefit ..... eliminate the surgeon general ..... yadda yadda .....

Durbin gets his turn ...... essentially he asked rhetorically why, when its for the US and US citizens we have to talk about offsets from social programs, but when its for Iraq we just write a check.

Allen almost swallowed his own face.
