Okay, here goes:
First amendment - latest thing for the Reich-wingers is the point that "the First Amendment does not say seperation of church and state" - so they're talking literalism.
Second amendment - quote: A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. Those who say that they should be allowed to purchase as many Uzis as they can tend to forget the part in bold - which seems to mean YOU SHOULD BE IN THE ARMY. Besides, how long has it been since someone really had to go out and constantly hunt for his meals, which was the norm back then.
Point # 3 - "That depends on what the meaning of 'is' is . . ." - oh, God. How we keep hearing about this.
And now, to wrap it up.
On 99.9999 percent of the copies of the Ten Commandments, it clearly states:
THOU SHALT NOT KILL
What part of that do they not understand?
It does not say, as some people claim, "Thou shalt not commit murder" or "Thou shalt not kill without the sanction of the Church".
Or am I just blowing smoke out of my ass?
