Support whomever you want in the primaries, but in a general election -- please don't stay home! Even the worst of the DINOs helps us, in that it's another Democrat going toward a Democratic majority, which we desperately need.

3. The Baby and the Bathwater...

Yeah, there are Democrats who are putzes. And that is frustrating. But aren't there Dems worth supporting? Who DO see that this country is in really scary shape and getting scarier all the time? Who are fighting the good fight?

So don't support the bums. Support the good guys. But picking up your toys and going home because the all the people playing are not playing the way you want doesn't seem so smart to me.

you are right she is a Republican. i hear very few democrats with a strong stand on anything; it appears that as long as they can safely hold onto their seat all else is of little importance.

Levin has called Bush on telling the Iraqis we will stay for as long as it takes,

and, as noted, Collins is a Republican.

One can always take the worst or the best in anybody. Nobody is perfectly bad or good. (Except the Bushies of course).
