Tom DeLay & Strawberries and Sweet Cream

In my extended family, strawberries and sweet cream are a celebratory treat. It goes back to when my grandfather was a young lad in Czarist Russia - and the tag line was

WHEN THE REVOLUTION COMES YOU WILL LIKE STRAWBERRIES AND SWEET CREAM

So, now we have strawberries and sweet cream for all celebrations (engagements, pregnancy announcements, graduations, birthdays, anniversaries) - but especially political celebrations.

So, in celebration of the indictment of Tom DeLay I am pigging out on fresh strawberries and shortcake and saying the proper prayer
