Interesting Analysis Of Dean And His Fortunes !!! - Very Hopeful !
How long will Dean fight on?
Kerry's N.H. win impressive, but not enough to push Dean out

<snip>

The problem in politics is always: What do you use as your baseline? Is it the dominant Dean of October or the deflated Dean of last Thursday?

Powered by Dean loyalists’ anger at the news media for repeatedly replaying the “Dean scream,” the former Vermont governor regained control of his campaign over the last five days and played the gallant warrior in New Hampshire.

Dean’s 26 percent is better than Bill Clinton’s 24.8 percent second-place finish in the 1992 New Hampshire primary, a showing that made him the self-proclaimed “comeback kid.” Clinton’s famous line in that campaign was telling Granite State voters that he’d fight for them “until the last dog dies.”

So now the question is: Will Dean struggle on for the nomination until “until the last dog dies?"

2. Hope is the basis and inspiration for this campaign
Fear will ultimately scare itself back into the spineless closet it came from.

4. Except Clinton didn't face his equivolent of the feb 3 states a week later
SC, OK, AZ, MO, and NM coming a week later for Dean(facing Clark Kerry and Edwards) would be the equivolent of if all of New England and California had voted a week later for Clinton.

They aren't his ideal states facing these opponents with there respective momentums or bases

5. A short timeline
1) Dean places 3rd in Iowa

2) Dean screams

3) Media is "shocked, socked, SHOCKED!"

4) ...over and over again!

5) Dean places 2nd in NH

You could say that's encouraging.

8. How about
1. Dean leads by wide margin in meaningless Iowa poll

2. Dean leads by wide margin in meaningless NH poll

3. Dean loses by wide margin in Iowa real polls

4. Dean "screams"

5. Media is shocked over and over and over

6. Dean loses by wide margin in NH real polls

7. Dean is subdued during speech, doing as the media tells him and ignoring those supporters who say "scream again"
