If we pay taxes to cover FEMA, and BushCo hire Halliburton to do FEMA's work, are tax dollars still going to FEMA, and are they also going to Halliburton for doing FEMA work?

1. Not to mention that when you contract Halliburton or the like - you

cannot cancel or change the contracts if the need changes. With Fema you use them only as long as you need to. Doubt those Balckwater workers were canceled after the National Guard was finally sent in.

3. FEMA would be the government agency that would hire Halliburton

Your taxes support the government with all it's Agencies of which FEMA is one. Bush* does not hire Halliburton. A government agency or Commission would do the contracting. Convenient that Halliburton gets selected so often and quite the coincidence that it happens to be the very same Company that our VP (Cheney) used to be CEO of. :+
