Poll question: If Bill Clinton were to run in a special election held October 1
versus George W. Bush, with the winner to be named President immediately, what percentage of the popular vote (assuming no Diebold factor) would he receive?

This fantasy poll was inspired by my seeing the screen name of a new DUer, "Clintoncomeback" and it made me wonder what the population in general would do if given that option.

1. Dare to dream, kid, dare to dream...
I think the public would take Oval Office BJ's over this group of hacks any day.

2. I think we'd all be willing to give him BJs rather than have what
we've got now.

in the Oval Office, and also, the girlish whitehouse.gov website?

9. About 61%. That's about as much as you can get in this country.
That tends to be the maximum any candidate gets.

10. Only the conservative base would vote for Bush.
Democrats go heavily for Clinton as do Independents.
