1. I agree
Vote them out. They have the same values as the pukes. Disgusting, short-sighted fools.

2. There are 36 of them
That's far too many. I'm sick of all the loser dems who let bad bils pass. Read the list on the link below.

3. 36 is exactly the margin of difference
that seems somewhat odd.

5. what's odd? it's a done deal before the vote.
you think the democrats are any less reliant on the corporate teat than the GOPosse? maybe so, but just a skosh. this was already planned in the backrooms and barrooms and bank accounts and thise 36 dems that made the difference will all be from "safe" seats. you think it was just an oversight that the environment wasn't even mentioned on the democratic party's web page? think they just over looked it? to hell with the democratic party. they no longer represent me or the values that once made proud to be associated with them.

The dems and the repukes prove once again that they're the two right-wings of the Big Business Party.

6. Or maybe they swapped votes with some Republicans
who can then save face with their constituents; if so, that's sickening, but yes, I agree it was probably a done deal.

10. There where a couple of threads about it.
Mine for instance :P but overall the environment gets pretty short shrift here.

This bill was so bad that even my puke congress critter voted against it.

12. True, but this was a very big fish.
We have too many dems living in the cities, paying attention only to city issues and "games".

9. Very dissapointing how apathetic some are to this corruption
Guess it's accepted as the new American way. Our new "Manifest Destiny": Pave all the prairies, clear-cut all the forests and erect master-planned developments with strip mall monuments, reflecting our great glory and wisdom.

15. Pombo is a piece of shit
I was gerrymandered into his district when I lived in Contra Costa County. What a bummer to go from George Miller to Pombo...

I moved to Oaktown and now my rep. is Barbara Lee -- as GOOD as it gets!

"In a bid to reshape decades of U.S. environmental policy, the U.S. House of Representatives on Thursday approved legislation to overhaul the Endangered Species Act and make it harder to shield the habitat of plants and animals threatened with extinction.

The bill was approved by a 229-193 vote. The White House supports the legislation"

17. My votes from now on
need to be EARNED. No more DINO's need apply, I've had it with them. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory again and betraying the People. If those grubbing traitors could feel any shame, I would pour a heap of their filth and corruption all over them. Corporate puppets every one of them. Damn them all! Fuck, even my puke bush asslicker voted AGAINST this one!
