10. I think Fitzgerald told her lawyer that he was going to prosecute Miller

for criminal contempt. Another possibility would be that Fitzgerald indicated that he was going to ask for the term of the grand jury to be extended or for a new one to be seated. Either way Miller would know that she was going to have to do another 18 to 24 months in jail. I think she was unwilling to do that. And her lawyer may have pressured Libby to release her again from her pledge of confidentiality.

It may be that she said that she was going to talk but asked Libby (or whomever) to say that she was released just to protect the integrity of the notion of journalism.

20. I think her lawyer probably contacted Libby and told him that she

was willing to stay in jail until the term of the grand jury expired next month but that Fitzgerald had indicated that he was going to either prosecute her for criminal contempt or seat a new grand jury and that she was not willing to do two more years. So Libby agreed to release her again just for appearances sake and she will now testify before the grand jury.
