Miller Agrees to Testify in CIA Leak Probe

WASHINGTON - After nearly three months behind bars, New York Times reporter Judith Miller was released from a federal prison Thursday after agreeing to testify in the investigation into the disclosure of the identity of a covert CIA officer, two people familiar with the case said.

Miller left the federal detention center in Alexandria, Va., after reaching an agreement with Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald. Legal sources said she would appear before a grand jury investigating the case Friday morning. The sources spoke on condition of anonymity because of the secrecy of the grand jury proceedings.

The sources said Miller agreed to testify after securing an unconditional release from Vice President
Dick Cheney's chief of staff, I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, to testify about any discussions they had involving CIA officer Valerie Plame.

and Rove had nothing to do with it. They have it wrapped and its over. It will come as "Nobody did anything" What a goddam joke. These creeps are rotten and it has been going on for too long.

15. the 87 day wait by Scooter may mean he, too, HAD TO GIVE all the

rest of the information ... if Scooter had given her and others a blanket release as he had, why else in the world would it take a total of 87 fukking days for Scooter to pick up that phone and cut Miller loose??? after all, even Rove had cut Cooper loose quite quickly.

I say it's about Scooter making the last immunity deal for himself by coughing up Cheney, Rove and Condiment Lice since Judy knows all that already from Bolton, and Fitz needed her to confirm who Scooter could fatally finger ... ok, now let's hope I'm not caught up in a LeCarre dream novel
