Virginia governor's race. |
|
Democrat Tim Kaine and republican kilgore.
Kilgore's campaign is running an ad stating Kaine supported higher taxes on gas. A local t.v. station has run a report for two days now that the ad is erroneous, but kilgore is still running the ad. The push for higher gas taxes was actually republican sponsored and Kaine DID NOT support it.
I do commend WSLS tv 10 for following these ads and bringing truth in advertising to the campaign.

1. Libel and defamation of character suit? |
|
That might be a way to get a retraction on the record. Just an idea.

3. Kilgore is a on-note wonder...all he can concentrate on at one time... |
|
He is definitely in the Bush mold...really comes off in debates as a blooming idiot. His big campaign themes are taxes...he wants to roll back the modest tax increases passed last year in the REPUBLICAN legislature which saved the states bond rating...and he wants to subject just about everything to a referendum...
Unfortunately in Virginia when you scream about taxes, no matter how stupid the idea or the person, you are likely to win.
