with Clark? Can someone please tell me why he has it out for the general and why Dole is even a commentator in the first place when he was a big loser in the primaries? It looks like his goal is to make Clark look bad but so far all I see that he's accomplishing is making himself look ugly and bitter.

Hey LZ1234--Dole's problem with Clark. I'm glad I ran into you. I may be able to shed some light on this question. Had not thought about it myself. I'm from N. C. and an Edwards girl. But also a ABB person too. Liddy Dole, Bob's wife is a Senator from North Carolina! Now if you see Dole putting down Clark, why would he do that? Uh oh--Do you think he wants to make Edwards look better? And if so, why? Or, is it just bitterness because of the supposed Clark--Clinton, Arkansas connection? My wheels are turning.

He's old school.. one of the more reasonable Republicans. Even though he doesn't agree with Dems he isn't hateful or spiteful like Gingrinch or Delay. He's open to the other side's argument. Many of Dole's friends are Dems, including Clinton. Dole went to the opening ceremony for Clinton's library. I've also seen him do those commercials with John Glenn. If all Republicans were like Dole this world would be a much better place.
