*WOW* Talk about the sky falling in *WOW*
As I perused the Media Matters yesterday over lunch I read and heard Bill Bennett's abortion/crime trainwreck* and thought "Oh another one that no one will hear of" you know one of those-if anyone else in a room has heard of this that will be something to laugh amongst yourselves at- type thing.

I get home and my wife has ABC WNT paused and my Mother-in-law (watching the baby this week, daycare starts next week) is sitting there with her mouth wide open. ABC WNT had a whole 1 minute report on it.

They both asked if I had heard about it and I said I had but I NEVER thought MSM would report on it (like many other things that they have let pass). I myself was shocked.

The Daily Show had Bennett as their moment of Zen last night-no surprise there.

The Today show had it as story #2 (after wildfires) this morning. I have it taped to watch tonight (will see if video is available).

WOW :wow: Bennett is in it up to his neck and on top of everything else happening this is just too fun to watch. :wow:

* although Bennett's remarks are lame brained and stupid and poorly thought out I have to say that I kind of see where he was going with it what he meant.....no I don't I stopped believing that BS a long time ago.

1. 20 years ago
he started his public lamebrained stupid remarks with that gem about college students blowing their loan money on stereos and spring break trips to FL.

I loathed him then and I loathe him now. C'mom Karma! What are you waiting for?!?

3. He's a hypocrite
and hypocrites deserve to be taken down.

Now about the whole black abortion issue... How about this: we abort all male children. THAT should empty out the prisons pretty quickly.

/sarcasm

Geez, what an idiot.

8. John Stewart of the Daily Show
Did a great bit on him after his gambling problem had surfaced. Bennett had pretty much said his moral failings were nobody's business, and the line that cracked me up was John saying something like, "I say kudos for Bill Bennett for having the courage to stand up and tell us not to listen to people... like Bill Bennett."

13. Just another example of the RW establishing another source
As you surely know they have done quite a bit of this. Some serve as quotable sources (Brent Bozell's media watchdog/UPI/Wash.Times/the new New York Sun) while others are created simply to broadcast that week's talking points (Hannity/Rush/ Bennett).

I will add this-I have been anticipating THIS for a few months now. I have posted on it here too. I was waiting to see when they would play the ultimate wedge issue card -RACE. Don't be surprised if next week (after they have focus grouped on it) to see/hear some middling RW piehole use the"N waord" and get that whole can opened up.

Seriously, don't be surprised
