After the rally, what can Progressives do to end the Iraq War?

Using guerilla and viral marketing techniques we can be a significant voice. We can educate about this war, because supporters do have a tendency to misunderstand both the purpose and the effect.

I have created a "chain" flyer called IRAQ WAR: What is it good for? which utilizes quotes from military and intelligence experts contrasted with quotes from Bush. The quotes point out that the war has been counterproductive and has made America less safe. IMO this is our strongest argument against the war with a populace that is unlikely to care about some of the other reasons.

What makes it a chain flyer is it contains verbage asking the recipient to make 12 copies and distribute. I flyer cars (especially cars with antiBush stickers & Support Our Troops ribbons or Bush/Cheney stickers), and "leave" copies in places they will be found such as political books at the library or book store, folded with the title visible. I also put them in the display window of free newspaper racks. Other ideas include leaving them in grocery carts, coffee houses, inside magazines at a doctor's office etc.

My flyer is available for download and is eyecatching because it has a photo of Bush vs. Clark in dueling quotes style.

1. Not much until we get closer to the general election. Then make pro-war

candidates fight for their political lives by throwing the Iraq disaster in their face. In their districts, demonstrate and write LTTE "until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream."

GOP memme. It's not, it's worse and we have Clark, Goss, the Army War College and Generals Odom and Zinni saying this. The problem is most are unaware that these statements have been made by miltary and intelligence experts.

spectrum you have General Myers spouting the "we fight them over there, so we don't have to fight them over here" nonsense. He was a featured shill at the republican national convention and he's still shilling, saw him on CNN this morning. Didn't his daughter get a plum assignment with BushCo?

I was able to give these flyers to WWII vets attending a convention in my city last week. One of the vets told me he walked out on Bush.
