Urgent -- Call 2 Action for Clark Supporters --Urgent
Edited on Wed Jan-28-04 10:16 AM by xultar
URGENT!!! Call to ACTION!!! There is a serious Meida Bias against Clark!
:grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr:

Even though Clark received 13% over Edwards 12% when they show candidate pictures in rank order they show Clark below Edwards. They also constantly refer to last night as a disaster for Clark.
:grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr:

THAT IS WRONG!!! Clark supporters it is your responsibility to call the media on their bias against Clark. You MUST call, write, email, SCREAM! :nuke:

Let them know that we are on to their game and that WE ARE WATCHING!!!! :grr: You are not imagining things. The bias is real and it is dangerous! There is something going on at the highest levels that seek to SINK Clark's Campaign. :grr:

:grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr:
NEVER UNDER ESTIMATE A GENERAL WHEN HE IS SERVING HIS COUNTRY...

AND DON'T UNDER ESTIMATE HIS TROOPS EITHER!!
:grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr:

Please Post TV, Radio, Newspaper email addresses, phone numbers, and snail number addresses of local and national networks in this thread. Bookmark this thread. Use this as a jumping off campaign for
OPERATION BIAS CONTROL - Clark Campaign Style

Don't let the media choose your next president. Look who they chose in 2000. They will do it again if we don't stop them. NOW!!!

My new Slogan talking point...

Clark is the only candidate that threatens the Right's domination of America!!!
:grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr:

2. Tell us who to write, etc
Who is showing pics out of order?
Did anyone run the actual percentages? Is it 13% to 12%. or is it more like 12.9% - to 12.3% .

3. I agree with you,
but I also think the media IGNORES we little peons. I write the cable networks ALL the time and NEVER get a reply. I think the emails just get deleted if they aren't positive feedback. CLARK needs to put them in their places. He needs to start doing his Classic "SMACKDOWN" on each and every pundit who tries to make him look bad. HE must fight them....BIG TIME!

What a terrible thing to have happen. I can't imagine anything worse the media could do or has done. Terrible, terrible, terrible.

I wonder -- do all those smilies represent excessive punctuation?

it and they can lock it if you feel it offensive or doesn't meet the rules.

I don't mind. I'm willing to take hits to get people to act to the overall bias towards Clark or any Dem candiate for that matter. Well, except Lieberman, he's getting the love fest from faux.

I've protested the treatment of Dean. Now I'm speaking up for my chosen candidate.

I think you missed the subject of this thread. It's actually a call to action for Clark supporters. However, if you want to start a new thread on Xultar's excessive use of angry smilies, I'm sure lots of people will be interested in participating!

6. It's up to Clark
It's Clark's responsibility to fire back at the pigs. One statement from him would trump 10,000 e-mails from all of us.
Most of the public knows the media coverage of this whole process is a joke so they would sympathize with anyone who sticks it to them.
There would only be one candidate who wouldn't like...Kerry.

9. I know exactly what you are talking about
On NPR this morning, when reporting the election results, they stated Kerry won-went to a clip of his speech. Stated Dean came in second-went to a clip of his speech. Stated Clark barely beat Edwards. Made statement about Edwards chances in South Carolina and rest of race. Then when on to state Lieberman came in 5th and went to sound bite from Lieberman. Notice something missing?

They did the same thing on CNN last night. Exactly. Big emphasis on Kerry and how he is the clear people's choice (after 2 states?). Big emphasis on Dean and his story and what his chances are now. Then a blip of mention of Clark and Edward 'tying' for third. And then on to reporting about Edwards chances in the race. Then once again, onto Lieberman. Once again, they skipped over any mention of Clark beyond stating his name.

I support Wes Clark but even I'm starting to wonder if he is a figment of my imagination.

I know I have posted this before but if you haven't read the following, please do. It's about how the media is IGNORING Clark when they are not trying to destroy him. They won't even give him a chance to gain name recognition.

http://www.moderateindependent.com/v2i2mediawatch.htm

I don't like to post from work but maybe some others can keep this kicked today so this can be discussed more tonight. I'm willing to do something but not sure what or how.

Thanks for your outrage...I feel the pain!

15. As much as I love the General,
I can't help with this, for ethical reasons (it doesn't pair well with my efforts to get my own candidate reasonable coverage) However, I DO share your outrage!

I was thoroughly disgusted with the persistant theme that Clark is "finished" after this NH showing. Jeez, and here I thought he did pretty damned well considering he didn't even compete in Iowa! Go get'em Clark folks. They deserve to be flooded with furious messages until they drown in them and we can employ some unbiased media!

16. Oh, Diamond, Ethics be Damned! :) (just kidding)
You know, they didn't even wait until the NH voters were out of bed in the morning on election day before they started to say that Clark was dead in NH. I was absolutely astounded!

The only returns that had been reported as of that point were the two tiny precincts that had Clark in the lead. Go figure.

Anyway, thanks for the support, and I'm sure Dennis won't mind if you fire off an email or two, just to help keep the media in line! :hi:

21. In my email to the media I mentioned DK, and Dean
for the Dean Scream.

I don't think it is fair that they are attempting to choose our candiates for us.

It is WRONG.

They shouldn't be playing the Dean speech 356 times a day.
They shouldn't be ignoring DK or Clark
They shouldn't be reporting the RW line hook line and sinker.

Write them and write often.
Until they take notice we must keep their mailboxes FULL!
Use multiple email accounts. I have about 12. We don't want them to think it is a SPAM, they must be from different individual emai addys for credibility.

We'll stop the maddness against our Dem candiates one way or the other.

24. I'm a Die-Hard Clark Supporter
And I've never been so pissed off at the media.

Sure, I've yelled at my television a few times in the past, but over the past two days I have probably flipped off my television and/or yelled obscenities at Dole, Scarborough, Matthews, et al. then I ever have in my life.

Now I'm a killer Doberman with a mission. Just give me the scent and let me at these media whores.

29. I couldn't believe what I heard last night, on a Boston station
One of the few times Clark was mentioned. The commentators/analysts were talking about the NH results, and a man (who I wasn't familiar with) made a matter-of-fact type comment saying, why should democrats vote for Clark, he was a repubican a year ago! I couldn't believe this blatant lie! Then, as he went on to comment about what the republican strategies should be, he was using the word "we." Apparently, this guy's a republican: what is the point of having a republican "handicap" the democratic race? The fact that a repub is making such comments about Clark just confirms my opinion that they are afraid of him because they know he can beat bush*.
