Poll question: Which is more important?
This is one of those "if you had to pick one." Both are important and one can put energy into both. But if you had to put your energy into *one* place, where would you put it?

P.S. I only put "major candidate" because I don't want Lieberman included in the poll.

1. If Lieberman Were Included,
that would actually make your point better, no?

2. To be honest, I'm not sure what my point is. I don't know how I'd answer
I'll be thinking about it though, and come back to respond.

5. Oh, c'mon
Especially for us, Democrats, who kinda move slowly on decisions because we take time to include everyone's opinion.

We elect a president based on a wide range of policies. And the president has to live in harmony with, at least, his party in Congress. So no one will ever satisfy all of us. You can be sure that even if Kucinich is the next president, he will take his time bringing home our men and women from Iraq. He will not just order a total retreat.

Lieberman is a Democrat who cares about issues that are important to all of us, but whose idea of implementing them is a bit different.

Perhaps we can learn from the Republican. They elected Bush not because of his ideas - I doubt that he is capable of forming one on his own - but because they knew that his policies would be closer to what they prefer, and certainly better than Gore's.

This is a nation of 290 million people. No one will satisfy everyone but we can be certain that any of the candidates, if elected, will turn this country back from the brink of disaster toward which we are headed under Cheney and his cowboy.

3. Defeating Bush is most important.
If we lose in Nov. does it really matter who the nominee is?

7. I never claim they're separate
The question is, if you had to put your energy in one spot, where would it go? No guarantees your energy would make a difference or any other rules.

8. I didn't vote
ABB all the way, but if we choose the wrong contender we get to keep Bush.
