Blitzer making sure Kay says war was still justified on CNN
Just like the GOP senators did at the hearing this morning when they were questioning Kay.

Bush is in trouble, especially if they call for an independent investigator on this matter.

3. Blitzer owes his career to Bush Sr.
It was his completely unprofessional coverage of the Pentagon during Gulf War I that rocketed Blitzer into the public eye. He took every statement from the Pentagon as the Gospel, and it was embarrassing how easily other reporters got the facts right when Blitzer didn't.

Right place, right time; but that doesn't matter. What matters is, Blitzer has a soft spot for the Bush dynasty as a consequence.
