ZW's Daily Democrat: Positive Attributes of All the Candidates
Dennis Kucinich: Obviously my #1 by an enormous distance. I have never gotten involved with a national campaign with this much enthusiasm and conviction. Why? Because Dennis is a true populist in the tradition of LaFollete, Guthrie, Hightower, and many more who have the hearts and souls of the working people in their hands, with the intelligence and drive to move mountains.

John Edwards: He ended the Jesse Helms reign in North Carolina, shares many of my concerns for the working people, is a powerful speaker with great energy and optmism. He deserves the extra coverage he has been getting.

John Kerry: Never say die in politics! I admit I am just as floored as anyone at his amazing comeback. It's the kind of development that makes politics exciting and addicting. Hats off to the Vietnam and Navy veteran.

Wes Clark: He defended Michael Moore's free speech rights and truthful charge of Chimp Desertion when it counted. I don't care who he once voted for, it what he WILL do, because he promotes a socially liberal agenda and will do right by the veterans, something sorely lacking in the current WH.

Joe Lieberman: Along with Kerry, the best environmental record of all the candidates, and would rightfully be our VP if not for the criminally insane Bushes.

Howard Dean: His campaign has staved off apathy at a time when apathy is lethal. He has brought in many first-time activists to the party, gave people a sense of ownership of their country by getting involved, and appeals to old-time Democrats as well who want the fighting spirit of the Democratic party restored.

Al Sharpton: The populist spirit of the Democratic party survives with each pin he sticks into the pomposity of the GOP.

3. Thanks for the post
We get really caught up with reasons (justified or not) for not liking the candidates, and forget all the great attributes they bring to the race.

4. Thanks, Zomby.
I firmly believe we can't go wrong with our current crop of candidates. The right man will win, whoever it is.

9. Here's Something Positive About Kerry From Me:
His favorite album is Abbey Road by the Beatles which is the same as mine.

11. Edwards ended Helms reign?
Edwards defeated Lauch Faircloth for his senate seat.

There are enough good points about Edwards without throwing in exaggerations.

12. Faircloth was a Helms product
The meaning was clear. I know Edwards didn't run against Helms, but he ran against his spawn, and I stand by my "exaggeration".

Many thanks! I've been saying for a while, this has turned out to be a very good crop of candidates. They're all exceptional people and several are qualified to lead a nation.
