How useful are endorsements? |
|
I was thinking about this. How useful are they really? It seems like they are useless. I remember when Kerry was getting a bunch of big name endorsements like DINO Fienstien and Ted Kennedy, and it didn't make much of a difference. This was when Kerry was behind Dean in NH by some 20+ points.

2. Endorsements equal cash flow |

When Al Gore endorsed Dean, Dean's campaign coffers swelled. Ted Kennedy had the same effect on the Kerry campaign.

Bill Bradley may have beaten Al Gore if Gore didn't stop collecting endorsements all the time.
