I seems that Dean has decided to forgo TV advertising in any of the Feb. 3 primary states. I think if Clark can focus on say, OK and AZ, the two states where he is in either first or second in the polls, he can come away with 1 or 2 victories next Tuesday.

None of the Feb. 3 states, besides Missouri, are rich in delegates. Those states come later in the process. Right now it would be more beneficial form a symbolic standpoint if Clark can win a state or two come this Tuesday. Isolating his resources will go further in picking up the 1 or 2 victories he needs.

Clark is doing quite well in NM :hi:

Your point is well taken, though.

And I think that's kind of the strategy - from what I've seen/read, Clark is focusing on the SW states: AZ, NM, OK.

He'll be making appearances in SC, cuz a strong showing there is still very possible and, given the media focus as the "first southern state", important.

2. "first southern state"
SC seems to be getting pretty schizzed up. Edwards has announced it as his 'must win', yet will only get half-credit as favorite son, making the news more who was second, or how close third.
