How will Kerry deal with the Bin Laden capture?

I totally believe Bin Laden has already been caught and they are wait for the right moment to release the news. A few weeks ago we heard the rumor that he had already been captured, nothing more than a rumor, but odd. Now we are hearing about a major operation in the spring, odd also since they are basically warning him.

Now their is this story: "U.S. military 'sure' of catching bin Laden this year"

How are Kerry and the other candidates going to deal with this issue? Will Bush wait until September 11 to announce his capture?? If by some chance some jobs are regained it will be a very tough election.

1. Lets put this to rest real quick

I believe if we had Osama Bin Laden, some people close to him would know this & would do something drastic to get his release. I don't believe we have him.

2. He should say it could have been accomplished BEFORE NOW

He should say it could have been accomplished BEFORE NOW if Bush hadn't screwed around in Iraq.

He should remind people that Bin Laden probably would have been captured months ago if Bush hadn't alienated the world community over Iraq and hadn't wasted everyone's time lying about Iraq having WMD


Then he should point out again that Bush SHOULD HAVE continued to focus our resources on Afghanistan along with the Pakistan border from the get go!


He should repeatedly emphasize that Congress was deceived by the Adminstration when they presented forged and downright bogus evidence as proof that Saddam had WMD's.


Then he should praise the troops and special forces in Afghanistan for prevailing and capturing Bin Laden IN SPITE OF the inadequate resources that bush allocated to them!


JMO but all of the Dem candidates should take this line- hell it's true!

Who knows what they'll claim? Like I said, it won't really matter. It will be a highly emotional day for all of us, perhaps the most emotional day the U.S. has seen since the end of WWII. And not a political one, hopefully. The Bushes had better be somber about it, not gloating and giggling like a bunch of fucked up hyenas.

i was talking to some colleagues about this very same thing today... for those who don't know, there was an urgent wire crossing last week that bin laden had been captured... quickly, reuters took it back, said they'd been "hacked." yesterday, the pentagon is pushing this "major operation" they're about to have... why would they ANNOUNCE an operation? so al qaeda can know in advance and flee?? it just makes no sense...

i, too, think he's been caught.
