I want a real Republican primary.
I don't want Bush to save up all his money to attack the Democrat.

I want to see Bush having to debate another Republican.

Is there someone else running for the Republican nomination we can publicize?

but he's an honorable man and infinately more qualified to be president over the current chimp-in-cheif.

8. Don't hold your breath.
Incumbents typically run unopposed. Clinton did in '96.

9. Real Repug. primaries are pretty rare.
Under another thread there should be a comparsion of Democratic and Repug. Convention rules. Some comparsions that come to mind..Effective platform..To present minority views, you need a greater number of states petitioning for a minority platform amendment as compared to the Democrats. For an alternative candidate to be nominated the same type rules apply. Delegates my vote for an unofficial candidate but to garner nominating speeches, demonstrations etc. the number of states with sufficient votes to nominate are much higher to be an official candidate. Does anyone else recall how regressive Repug. convention rules are ...
Was there not talk Nader could/might run as a Republican. Now, that would be interesting..Take on the special interests right on their home turf.. I like that....

Isn't that what * is trying to do with our fringe candidates (and possibly Dean)?
