If Al Gore Endorses Kerry This Year, Will Kerry Accept?
Did Al Gore's endorsement of Dean help Gore's prospects as the leader of the Democratic wing, or did it sink his chances of ever winning the presidency?

"take backs."
I'm sure Gore will support the party's nominee.

It helped some people look favorably at Dean, and it encouraged supporters of other candidates to rally around their choice.

It came too early.

6. I was being sarcastic. And yes, he doesn't have the positive aura he once
held.

7. Ha!ha! Kerry kicked Gore out of the race! Barney Frank said Gore should
get out, to make room for Kerry. When getting out, Gore said: "I was willing to run, but was told...."
So, I cried then, but because I was a good girl, I drafted myself better!
He's brilliant, he's decent and and unlike Gore/Kerry HE HAS A PULSE!
It'll be a cold day in hell when Gore does anything for Kerry. Kerry needed his path smoothed - the same way the party machine made sure that he stayed on the NY ballor IN SPITE NOT HAVING THE SIGNATURES.
I guess the volunteers for Clark, Dean, Kuchinich were schmucks to do it the old way - by collecting signatures.

Kerry, Dick Short Names on Petitions
By MICHAEL R. BLOOD
DAILY NEWS POLITICAL CORRESPONDENT
Sen. John Kerry and Rep. Dick Gephardt were allowed on the New York
State primary ballot even though they did not file enough nominating
signatures to qualify, officials said yesterday.
The candidates took advantage of a secret political peace treaty
hammered out by Democratic state chairman Herman (Denny) Farrell in
which they agreed not to challenge each other's petitions
