Kerry camp angered by Botox questions

Blute and Scotto, hosts of a talk show on WRKO radio in Boston, Kerry's home city, asked him on Tuesday whether he denied ever using Botox or other kinds of cosmetic surgery.

"Absolutely, I've never even heard it," Kerry responded. "I've never even heard of it."

Botox is an injectable drug that paralyzes facial muscles to eliminate wrinkles. Its makers say 11 million people around the world have had the treatment.

I saw John Kerry personally a week ago in NH, and I saw face to face a year ago. I did recognize something, but not until I saw him on TV in the debate did I think, wtf happened to his face? I thought it was just too much make-up, but then found out about the botox stuff.

This is just the start for John Kerry. Remember early last year when he said "before I was married..." Yea right, that spells staff females while he was a single Senator. This is just the beginning.

Numerous articles claim Kerry "preens" in front of the mirror for hours before any public appearance. That ties right into the "north-eastern liberal whose more liberal than Ted Kennedy" meme. It's a portrait of arrogance, vanity and privilege. You guys can say it's irrelevant all you want, but the attacks on Kerry are just beginning. You have to be prepared to address them, and I promise you that saying the subject of the attack is "irrelevant" or a "non-issue" or "he's survived such attacks for 30 years" just isn't going to cut it.

Clark and Dean have had to deal with media assassination, it looks like it's your guy's turn. You might want to give some thought to exactly how you're going to counter it.
