Another theory, and a pretty good one, from a fellow Dean supporter...
"The corporations that now run the country decided to kill Dean because he promised re-regulation of the corporations, including a breakup of media monopolies. It looks like the corporations have succeeded. What I don't know is whether they want to kill Kerry later or whether they would prefer a Bush-lite Kerry administration to a continued Bush administration. My cynical view this evening is that the corporations will decide who will be president from 2005 onwards. A majority of the voters will vote however CNN tells them to vote, and CNN will take its direction from Halliburton, Chevron, and Wal-Mart. Despite this level of cynicism, it feels better to keep on fighting than to surrender."
:tinfoilhat: It doesn't take much tinfoil to believe this one, Dean did say exactly that and make it a big issue.
However in the words of a great imperialist, "We will never surrender!"
