1. Keep this kicked.
I know Clark wins these polls all the time.

Dean can't win in November. Clark can.

3. Heard that....
I'ts a shame that we are being told who the nominee is going to be....it's like a snowball thrown from the top of the hill gathering more snow and getting bigger as it comes down. No real reason other than we keep being told that's what it's gonna be. The press did an excellent "set up" of us Dems. I give them mucho kudos. Question remaining is are Dems smarter than the media gives them credit for?

We will see....

In reference to snowball analogy, Dean has not a snowball of a chance in beating Bush!

That was the original Goal....I thought!

5. Keep your chin up, Frenchie
It ain't over 'til it's over. Dean may have be ahead in most of the polls, but he's been getting the lion's share of the air time too. A lot of it's just name recognition, and THAT will change. Is changing. I think Dean's peaked, while Gen Clark just gets better and better.

Keep the faith, my friend. :pals:

7. That and..
Dean had one hell of a head-start and his numbers really only jumped up after Al Gore did the endorsement thing.

Clark has only begun to turn up the heat on his campaign. Things will no doubt tighten up and who knows who might come forward to offer his endorsement of the General?

South Carolina will be the turning point next year, then look for the General's numbers to skyrocket, and meanwhile, Bush will be in an "undisclosed location" peeing in his pants.

9. Not quite accurate.
Dean's numbers improved a *little bit* after the Gore endorsement, but he had been far ahead long before that...

18. But the polls in November won't be front-loaded with Clark supporters
...like the DU polls are.

Seriously guys, IF Clark gets the nomination, he's got my vote. And I'll do what I can to counter the massive hits he gets from the Rove machine. But your polls here aren't fooling anybody :)

8. This result will be irrelevant.
General Clark is unelectable.

Dean will defeat him in every primary, then go on to defeat Bush in a landslide.

The die is cast.

14. Yes, you shall be absorbed...all human endeavor is a useless cover..
For the inevitable fate of mankind....to serve Dean.

Can't we have a few laughs?

Have a great holiday..then it will be back to the trenches.

21. Of course!
Perhaps we should call off the primaries and proceed with the Dean coronation now?

11. DU vs. the Real World
I get a chuckle out of these polls posted here, that are clearly at odds with more accurate national polls. Have at it, as the reality of your situation will be glaringly clear at the convention.

See...yaaaa.....

13. Are these the polls saying thet W trounces HD/other Democrats?
I am old enough to remember when "accurate national polls" used to be derided on DU, and Campaign finance reform was a noble cause to fight fot.

16. Kickin' it for Clark
The hope of Middle America!
(Is that like Midde Earth? I live here and sometimes I just have to wonder!)
Have a great Christmas Eve, folks!
Hope good ole St. Nick is good to you!

Oh - I got the CUTEST Christmas ornament today - handmade. It has Clark 04 on one side and a pic of the General with a little Santa hat on, on the other. ADORABLE. Second cutest thing on the tree! (The first is an ornament with a picture of my son on it).

19. I support Clark but
I don't think this poll means anything. A hundred people polled, no info on how they were picked, no mention of the exact question, not meaningful to me.

The only poll that should be important in deciding your primary vote is:

In a GE between bush and _____ how would you vote.

I feel that should be part of your decision process.

23. I still don't get how DU polls can be so different from those conducted by
mainstream media sources. If anything I would expect Dean to get a higher rating here than with the public at large. Maybe it's because we're simply more informed, and others are reacting to name recognition, or follow the (presumed) leader mentality.

24. No, it's because there was a huge, coordinated influx of
Clark supporters to DU back during the draft movement. Someone posted evidence of this from one of the Clark message boards some time ago.
