Gary Hart on CBC (Canada) Radio
He's talking about the failule of the Democratic Party to capitalize on the Republican's meltdown.

He said that with so many Democrats voting for the war and continuing to support the war sends a confused message to the American people.

He feels that Democrats are still trying to shake off the "anti-war" image from the Vietnam era and are now overcompensating.

Interesting.

1. As the Late Doctor (HST) Said
"Gary Hart was the closest thing to a president-in-waiting this country has ever had." And he would have been good.

Originally, I thought it was a good idea for the Democrats to lay low, and maybe it was. But now the public needs an alternative and something for their feelings to coalesce around.

2. He's sure talking like a presidential candidate.
He's now talking about people stopping him on the street and asking "Why don't the Dem leaders speak up? Why don't they SAY something about this government?"

But he also admits that he doesn't have a lot of influence within the party.

4. The Church of Bush marches on.

When the CIA Mafia's National Republican Christian Socialists arranged for their Muslim Socialist 'al Quaeda' patsies to 'burn the Reichstag' for them on 9/11 the true victims all over this planet were the champions of peace and Liberal Democracy everywhere.

Rabid Christian, Muslim and Jewish socialists have now successfully elevated this stupid, ignorant 60 year old religious-dogmatist pissing match over UN Resolution 181 and the Temple Mount in Jerusalem into an intractable conflict that has worked to establish evil religious fascist tyranny in every major nation and a resulting global world war, clearly aimed at nothing short of a global nuclear Armageddon.

The issue here is not one of being for or against 'a war'! It is one of being for Peace and Republican Liberty, or for the assured destruction of all life on this planet by madmen committed only to prove out the fairy tales of their ridiculous superstitious Dogmatism.
