If you think back on all of the "high crimes and misdemeanors" that the Village Idiot has committed during his time in Crawford...oops, I mean time in the White House...you have to wonder how, after impeaching the last president for lying under oath about sex, the Republicans in Congress can look themselves in the mirror, much less look the American people in the eye, and justify NOT doing ANYTHING about the dictatorship of this guy and his henchmen.
Manipulating the American people into an unnecessary invasion of another soveriegn nation, in the wake of the biggest tragedy and pain this country has ever known, should have been enough. But, like any good dictator, he told the same lie over and over, and continues to do so, until enough people let it become THEIR truth. He is personally responsible for the deaths of nearly 2300 Americans in Iraq alone. When you figure we lost just over 3000 on 9/11, he is only around 700 short of Osama bin Laden! And they are BOTH still running free. That is nearly 2300 counts of MURDER! Not to mention how he kept implying that Saddam Hussein was responsible for 9/11, when he knew it was a lie....but told us there was WMD in Iraq, which the United Nations had already found that there WERE none....but when ready to launch his pre-planned invasion called it "Operation IRAQI FREEDOM"??? Shouldn't it have been called "Operation Get Them Damned WMD OUT of the Hands of Saddam Hussein"?? "Iraqi FREEDOM"? Who the hell signed on for THAT?
We have been given hints that there was more known about the coming of 9/11 than we are being allowed to know. And when the bipartisan 9/11 Commission wanted Bush and Cheney to "testify under oath" they would only agree to "visit NOT under oath", and in the wake of the Clinton impeachment for lying under oath, if THAT doesn't send up RED FLAGS to the American people, then they are too far gone already!
When you realize that, like Nero fiddling while Rome was burning, the Idiot was playing a guitar out west at a Republican fundraiser as thousands of his people were drowning in New Orleans and the western Gulf Coast, the death toll that he is personally responsible for, as the head decision maker where the buck stops, is enormous!
Then you can talk about his blatant moves to concentrate power into the executive branch....a common move by up and coming dictators, (see: Hitler, circa 1932). Checks and balances are the anchor of our democracy, and he and his henchmen will just have none of that, and his Republican collegues in the Congress are complicit in the slow extinguishing of the plans of the Founding Fathers, by putting up ABSOLUTELY NO RESISTANCE to his power grab!
He, who's family is joined-at-the-hip with the Arab oil producers, wants to allow the UAE, which has connections with him and dad along with the bin Laden family thru The Carlyle Group, to purchase control of over 20 of our ports, including six of our most vital in the area of National Security. Seems the idea of National Security wasn't really his motivating factor.
The list goes on and on.....and on and on....and on and on....!
People who are still alive that were rocked to sleep in Germany in the 1930's and 1940's, will tell you that this path can be VERY dangerous.
Throw in that starting with the 2000 election, he has baited and switched his way around in the sneekiest of ways that would have made a 19th century snakeoil salesman blush, for instance why taxcuts for the rich were needed. Remember, first it was because with a surplus we were keeping in the coffers the money of the rich which they should have returned, because the economy was so good. Then after he and Cheney kept talking DOWN the economy, while their lawyers worked to steal the election, which helped it to take a nose dive even BEFORE they took office, it was because the rich needed the money to "invest" it back into the economy. Everytime he spoke, especially after 9/11, every problem had one of two possible answers for a fix. "BOMB IRAQ" or "TAX CUTS FOR THE RICH". And if we haven't noticed......he accomplished BOTH.
Ok...now I have vented.
