City supervisors push impeachment of President Bush
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - San Francisco supervisors are asking their Democratic congregation to pursue the impeachment of President Bush.

The seven supervisors who voted to pursue impeachment say Bush should be removed from office for mishandling the war in Iraq and cutting civil liberties.

San Francisco was recently lampooned by conservatives as an ultra-liberal city out of touch with mainstream America.

The criticisms came after Supervisor Gerardo Sandoval recently said on Fox News that the United States doesn't need a military.

5. That's not what he said.

He said we don't need a military. I certainly don't support going around "murdering dark skinned people" and I have real issues with the way our military is being used, but that having been said, the idea that we don't need a military at all is "wacky".
