WASHINGTON - Former Senate Democratic leader Tom Daschle is raising money for a Democratic effort targeting Republican senators.

1. Hmmm couldn't come up with this three years ago I guess
I guess better late than never but IMO Daschle's reluctance to attack while the harm was being done is unforgivable. Didn't he vote along with other Democrats for Bush*'s first tax give-away for the wealthy? Did he stand up to Bush* when Bush* refused to follow Congressional Law concerning the Presidential Papers Act? What did he do to get Cheney's SECRET Energy Meetings publicized? Daschle let us down "Big Time" and now five years later he is saying 'Gee maybe we should fight back'... Whatever Dude..If it helps ease your conscience.
