"God does not make mistakes"
Said Mississippi Democratic Congressman Deryk Parker during yesterday's debate to ban abortion which would exempt pregnancies from rape and incest. Parker, who opposed the exemptions went on and shared that "regardless of how conception takes place, life begins at conception."

Another Democrat, Representative Jim Evans (obviously a true demcrat) said yesterday, "If you've been raped by a low-life, no good, nasty, good-for-nothing rapist (a republican??) and now your going to tell a woman she's got to look at it for 19 years or some time and carry it for nine months - what kind of human being would do that?"

By a vote of 62 to 56 the Mississippi house voted to "ALLOW" abortions in pregnancies caused by rape or incest. 56 motherfuckers voted against the proposal.

6. Haven't read the old testament?
That god is not so opposed. For instance when he'd send armies to smite villages they could kill all the old men and babies, fine, but they got to keep some women to have sex with. The bible puts in more biblically of course.

13. So cancer isn't a mistake? And the patient should let it continue?
Injuries are caused by God? The injured shouldn't seek help but hsould let the injury heal on its own? Or not?

Birth defects should be left alone, even if the baby would die without correcting them?

3. Because if a woman is impregnated through rape or incest, that's
a sign of God's displeasure with her? Just as poverty is a sign that the person in question is morally lacking and not in favor with God? What a happy coincidence for conservatives ... that following "God's will" helps keep the money flowing upward to their corporate pals.

4. So..........
according to him, rape and incest are ordained by God because conception may take place because of it? And God intends the victim to suffer the consequences of an act where she is not at fault?

12. Soubtful....We have some female "knuckle draggers" in the legislature
that probably jumped at the chance to ban abortion. Hell, they are LOUD rumors that the Lt Gov had one herself a few years ago and covered it up for political reasons.

11. "God" can be used to justify ANYTHING...
and often IS. I think believing in God is the same as believing in Santa Claus but a lot more dangerous. If people want to believe in God, let them. But to base any laws on something that there's no proof even EXISTS is ridiculous in my opinion.

could look forward some day to having her 'son/little brother' growing up to rape her too. Then she could have her own son/grandson/nephew

That is the difference. And yes correction God did admit once to making a mistake in the Bible. Which is why there is the Noah flood story.

18. Well, what about spontaneous abortions and miscarriages?
Some people think that is the body doing a little self correction. These folks will cling to any shred of rationale they can ferret out of their devious, misogynist brains..

spontaneously abort? Those aren't 'mistakes'??

What a maroon.
