bush and situational awareness (Katrina)
bush lied this week on ABC News when he said there was a communications problem on the ground in New Orleans after the hurricane limiting situational awareness.

I was 50 miles northeast of New Orleans, no electricity, no water, no nothing, sipping ambient beer in my garage and trying to get over the shock of having a hurricane up my ass for about 24 hours, watching trees topple over and god knows what being blown away; and doing my best to comfort my wife and her crying episodes. However, during that time in the garage I had a battery operated radio and I knew precisely what was going in New Orleans. Surely to God the president of the United States had better communications facilities available to him than me.

My hate for bush is extremely rationale.

1. Unless you're one of the super-rich, support for Bush is totally
irrational.

BTW, best of luck to you.

3. Thanks
We are doing fine now but the 72 hours after the hurricane was quite traumatic. Trees and power lines all over the highways, no stores open, no gas available. No electricity and it was very hot. It was like living on another planet. We are just about back to normal now, getting ready for the next hurricane season.

2. Remember after 9/11 * cabal said one of the major...
issues they were going to fix was communications.....for firefighters, police and emergency personel I made the assumption that FEMA and other government organizations were included in that...

I also remember that the * cabal cut funding to the communications effort within the last year or two....

* was on vacation...he had no interest in our fellow Americans suffering and dying...He may have the facilites but what good are they if he is not interested in them?

Everyone in America and the World saw what was going on in the Gulf....and the boy who would be king didn't care!!

What he did and did not do is criminal....

He is destroying this country....and I despise him for that!!

I hope you and your wife are okay!!

4. Fine and dandy
and I thank you for asking. bush's words about situational authority were said to keep the base in line and give them an angle to blame someone else for their failures. You are right. He could not possibly have cared less about what happened on the gulf the night of 29 August and all day the 30th.
