Fwd MoveOn Media Action Alert:
Dear Media Action member,
Just two weeks in, The Monday Project is making waves by finally holding the Sunday morning political talk shows accountable for years of right-wing guests.
This Sunday, you can be part of this new campaign to guarantee balance on the most influential political TV of the week. We'll walk you through it, and what you report on Sunday will inspire the action everyone else takes on Monday.
Can you sign up to watch at least one major Sunday morning political talk show, then share your opinion on the show? Sign up here:
http://civic.moveon.org/mediaaction/mondayproject/?id=6964-2816368-MEZnOfInhKn5aVBoaqwMcw&t=3As you know, our friends at Media Matters released a study two weeks ago revealing an imbalance of right-wing guests on the major Sunday morning political talk shows. Since then, Media Action members like you have watched the Sunday shows for political balance every week, then called the shows immediately after if they failed to host a balanced debate. This lets the shows know we're watching.
After you call the show, tell us what example of imbalance you found. We will take the most outrageous example and send it to other Media Action members on Monday—hence, The Monday Project.
When you sign up to watch NBC's Meet The Press, CBS's Face The Nation, and/or ABC's This Week, we'll give you everything you need:
Information on show times in your area
Key things to look for when you watch a Sunday show
Contact information for each show
Please sign up to watch at least one political talk show this Sunday morning here:
