Kevin Drum on Jon Stewart

Just a thought...but I gotta go with Drum on this one. While I do see JS's potential to be a damaging influence for liberals and Dems, I just can't get on board with shooting down a liberal commentator willing to address the failings of the old order political machine.

to position oneself nearer to those OUT of power.

If the Dems were in as much power as the Rugs are now, I would still enjoy his humor, even if he stuck to us just as badly.

4. Stewart is a............
......comic genius, who is a liberal, but yet makes his jokes against whoever. Clinton while in office, and then some. Bush now, and I am sure for years to come. BUT, he sees the political world thru eyes that I wish more people had to see with.

5. The article Drum is replying to is too dopey for words.
Well, maybe it's worth the very few and aptly dismissive words Drum spares for it. But really, the writer needs to be soaked in brine.
