I agree that Inderfurth is another corporate lackey and Clinton was just as bad with his NAFTA.
How many think that Democratic Party leadership is even remotely competent? The smirking POTUS is an incompetent fool, who along with many of his comrades in Congress, are destroying our country with corporatism and cheap labor, both outsourced and in sourced. Eighty-Five ( 85% ) of the country clearly sees and opposes it, while Dean and many others in the Democratic leadership position can't even come up with a cohesive party policy that captures the frustration of most working American middle class.
Their outright incompetence in this regard is beyond the pale of comprehension. As someone said on C-SPAN this AM the only thing that the Democratic Party is good for is to oppose the Republicans, which is a sad commentary.
The issues are extraordinarily broad and range from the military industrial complex, to the FDA that unilaterally supports the food industry and big pharma, to the trade policies that obviously favor India and China, to our open insecure borders so that corporate America can have cheap labor.
If the Democrats established a “Contract With America” that CLEARLY outlines a party position which opposes these many diverse anti-middle class / pro-corporate policies of the GOP they could capture the hearts and minds and votes of most Americans.
