Former Sen. John Edwards (D-NC) spoke at local Democratic Party fundraisers in Davenport and Iowa City, Iowa. The events were part of a two-day trip to Iowa by Sen. Edwards on February 25-26, 2006. Iowa is expected to hold the nation's first presidential caucus in 2008.

Also, it'll be a lot harder to call General Wesley Clark a bleeding heart liberal. Same goes for John Edwards.
