Who's the father-bashing "political daughter?"
# Which political daughter gave a recent interview to a sports Web site
that had to be chopped to ribbons because of her repeated hostile references
to her famous father, who, she said, never came to her events when she was growing up?

I'm stumped.

3. Not a clue, tried Googling a bit but nada so...
:kick: because now you admittedly have me curious to know as well. :D

An aside: I always feel a bit sorry for the children of politicians. It must be very difficult to be the child of someone with political aspirations, especially if they become "famous" and in demand.

8. I doubt it was Chelsea. The Clintons are too politicaly
savy to have ignored anything Chelsea took part in, they would realize it wouldn't play. I could see it being Jenna or Barbara. Their dad appears less than interested in raising kids. They seem to have been birthed because that's what you do, you get married and have kids. The only thing not keeping with the script is that Bushie had two girls instead of one of each but they got it over with in one pregnancy.

Having never been rich, but knowing some folks who grew up wealthy, I don't think it's uncommon for nannies and such to attend the performances of children of the very well off. I was at a Rosh Hashannah dinner approx. eight years ago and one of the guests was relating a story about her grand daughter who at that time was attending an exclusive middle school in New York. She said she (the grandma) went to some event and one of the other adults there asked her if she was the nanny!

5. I vote for Cheney's dtr., or Jenna Bush.
Edited on Sun Mar-05-06 07:57 AM by Divernan
We know the only section of the paper W claims to read is the sports section, and we know he and Laura skipped out on both twins' college graduations. And it's easy to believe Cheney had - how did he put it about skipping Vietnam? - more pressing obligations than going to parents' night.

And Al Gore's kids seem to be very happy and well-adjusted and not likely to harbor childhood grudges.

Does Delay have a daughter?

6. Does Lynn Swan have a daughter?
Just an idea .. sports website and since he's running for office now I suppose they are referring to her as a "political" daughter?

11. A more important question
A more important question is why did the interview have to be "chopped to ribbons?" Since when are the children of politicians not allowed to criticize their parents?
