If this headline in the AP is not in other news lists,
"General: Iraq's Not on Verge of Civil War"

http://apnews.myway.com//article/20060305/D8G5HLD80.html

Does it mean that the news if for US citizens as a form of propaganda and not needed to be picked up by the AFP or Reuters.

I mean, do AFP and Reuters see it as just that, propaganda for Americans???

1. "Bush Rewards Pakistan With Visit" was one from a few days ago.
When I saw that, I was mildly surprised it didn't read "Glorious American Leader Graces Barbarian Country with His Magnificent Presence".

3. One head out of many...
and the story is about one general's bullshit that Iraq isn't going to have a civil war.

It's just a story about a general spilling the official spin of the day, not the gospel truth of everything.

4. Hmmmmmmmmmm.
A Zogby poll indicates at some 70% of the troops think we should be out of Iraq in a year or less.

So, what say, General? Gonna whip up the troops and plug the mission for your Commander-in-Chief, or are you just going to turn in your stars right now?

The thing about bright lights is that you can see the marionettes' strings. Takes a lot out of the "suspension-of-disbelief" necessary to any successful show.

Peace
