"Liberal" Media (AP) Fails to Mention Corrupt Ex-Gov is GOP

"Liberal" Media (AP) Fails to Mention Corrupt Ex-Gov is GOP
Correct me if I am wrong, but whenever the press reports on a government official, is not that official's party affiliation usually mentioned?

In this AP article on ex-Illinois Governor George Ryan and his Federal racketeering trial, nowhere is it mentioned he was a Republican governor.

Had his bumper stickers featured a donkey, would the "Liberal" media failed to mention it?

This is made doubly pertinent since the scope of his crimes (excuse me) ALLEGED crimes in office was what helped defeat potential GOP candidates for that state.

1. This point is also very obvious
in the Chicago Trib. Funny how the Liberal Media missed this, ain't it?
